A Semi-Functional Boutique Website
Bloomthread is a conceptual e-commerce boutique inspired by Art Nouveau, floral illustration, and natural forms. I developed the brand’s visual identity and translated it into a semi-functional e-commerce website, hand-coded using Adobe Dreamweaver and Bootstrap. The project explored how an expressive, illustration-driven aesthetic could be adapted into a modern digital shopping experience.

Inspiration
Bloomthread’s branding draws inspiration from Art Nouveau, botanical illustration, and the organic beauty of nature. The visual identity combines flowing typography, floral motifs, and a warm, earthy color palette to create an aesthetic that feels whimsical, artistic, and inviting.
Logo
The logo incorporates a stylized rose into the wordmark, reinforcing the brand’s connection to florals and nature while creating a distinctive and recognizable identity.
Color and Typography
The color palette balances deep browns and olive greens with soft creams, muted sage, and warm coral accents, drawing from natural tones and vintage botanical artwork. Typography pairs expressive, rounded display lettering with clean, approachable text styles to maintain the brand’s personality while supporting readability. Together, these elements establish a cohesive visual language that carries across the website, creating a shopping experience that feels both artful and accessible.

The Bloomthread homepage introduces the brand’s Art Nouveau-inspired aesthetic through floral imagery, warm earthy tones, and expressive typography. Designed to establish the boutique’s visual identity, the page combines decorative elements with clear navigation and shopping links to create an inviting introduction to the collection.
The midi dress catalog translates Bloomthread’s visual identity into a browsable shopping experience. Product imagery, consistent typography, and a warm neutral palette create a cohesive presentation of the collection, while the structured layout makes it easy for shoppers to explore available styles.
The Silky Water Color Dress product page focuses on presenting an individual item through detailed product imagery and essential shopping information. The layout maintains Bloomthread’s floral-inspired aesthetic while prioritizing product visibility, clear information, and accessible purchasing interactions.
