Lighthouses guide ships to land and are symbols of hope and enlightenment. Birds are symbolism for freedom.

The Lighthouse is about searching for and finding myself. It’s about breaking free from who I used to be and growing comfortable and proud of who I am today. The juxtaposition of the waterfall against my face relates to tears and sadness at mourning my previous self, illustrating that it’s difficult to find yourself, but the lighthouse (hope) makes it possible.

This piece won an Honorable Mention Award in the 2026 Mercyhurst Student Juried Art Show, and appeared as the cover page for gallery promotional materials.

An experiment with color, transparency, and geometry.

River Guardians is a conceptual environmental awareness organization focused on protecting otters and the freshwater ecosystems they depend on. The goal of this project was to create an engaging email campaign using Mailchimp, Illustrator, and Photoshop. I designed the email graphic in Illustrator and Photoshop, then used Photoshop to slice the artwork into clickable sections so individual visual elements could link users to different areas of the organization. The goal was to turn awareness into action by allowing users to interact with linked parts of the graphic.

Below is the email graphic, which is an example of the monthly newsletters, as well as a screenshot of the mailing list sign-up email (created in MailChimp).
